Firsts

Have you entered the Embellish Company Giveaway

Firsts are so bittersweet.  It's of course wonderful to see your little one hitting milestones, but then that first is over, never to be had again.  Then you look at your little 6 1/2 month old next to a friends newborn and think, how did my teeny tiny baby get so big?!?  I'm watching Parker scooch/crawl along the floor as I type this and I can't help but tear up a little.
Yeah...I said that right.  Didn't she just learn to sit up?  She can even pull herself up completely if I put my hands out.  My pediatrician said that it's unusual that she is pulling up so early.  Hip displyasia be damned.  This girl is determined.
Parker has never liked her car seat.  So going for walks were never on her list of favorite things to do.  I decided to see if she liked the stroller without the car seat a couple of weeks ago.  I'd say a passed out baby is a happy baby.
Another first?  Riding shotgun in the shopping cart!  She lasted an entire Costco shopping trip without complaint.  She's such a big girl and I'm a puddle.  Waaahh.

  9. I love all the pictures of your adorable Parker. And I am right with you, I have always been a sap about my kids growing up. I love having actual conversations with Connor these days, and though it seems like I had him just yesterday, there is already so much I have forgotten.

  11. I'm right there with ya mama... My daughter turns one on April 10th and it's going to be such a bittersweet day. I've stopped saying "Oh I can't wait till she does this" because I CAN WAIT! Before you know it we'll be walking our little to their first day of preschool... Excuse me while I go cry in the corner now!!

  12. She's a determined little miss! Molly can't seem to get the forward thing. She prefers to scoot on her butt all over the floor. Today we had some process but she just laughs, sits up and blows raspberries. How can I argue with that!!

  14. She is too cute! I feel like babies always do thinks right after you voice your concerns. My little nephew wasn't talking for a long time and as soon as his mom talked to his doctor about it he started talking...he hasn't stopped since! :) I can't imagine having a baby and watching them grow so quick, I think I would just cry all the time. :)
