I Choose Peace.

My mother in law secretly snapped this photo while she was here.  I adore everything about it.  It reminds me of Gods goodness and faithfulness.  This is a crazy season of life for my little family.  Worry and anxiety can easily get the best of me; but I refuse to let it.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  I choose peace.  I choose joy.  I choose contentment.

  2. Hold eachother tight during the storms. God is keeping you "still" Ruthy, because you know He is God. Youre a wonderful testimony. Love you guys,

  3. I love everything about this photo - it is so powerful and speaks volumes! I am so happy for you and your sweet family; this season that you are in, as crazy as it is for all of you, is filled with so much promise. I love being able to read about all the exciting changes in your life (and yes, even though I am a terrible about commenting, I *am* reading and following along!).

    Much love to you, Mama!

  7. what an amazing picture you will treasure forever. I can't believe it was not staged... haha You live in a beautiful home. I also love what you say here, it is a crazy season for my family too and I have to remind myself daily that it is just a season and that God is still there.

  8. I love this - especially the title. I was thinking about that so much this morning, how He brings peace in the little things - when we remember to put our focus on what matters.
IN other news, I think we have the same couch :) We bought one from Ikea this weekend!

  9. That is a GREAT picture! Sometimes I dream about hiring a professional photographer to follow our family around for the day. I like candid in-the-moment shots so much better than posed ones.
