- Sleeps on her side or stomach 75% of the time.
- Rolls over front to back and back to front.
- Her fine motor skills are terrific...she can grasp items and hold them tightly.
- She can scooch/push herself backwards.
- Loves blowing rasberries.
- Appears to be a thumb sucker.
- Coos, babbles and smiles constantly.
- Loves bath time
Her sleep pattern is fairly consistent...she usually goes down anytime between 7 and 9 depending on my evening schedule; I dream feed around 10:30 or 11 and she usually wakes up at 3am for a feed and then is awake for the day between 7 and 8 am. The hilarious thing is she will end up on the opposite side of the crib, turned around, and is usually crammed in the corner whenever I go in to feed her. We've had 2 nights recently were she slept through the night and I'm praying we get more of those again soon.
Naptime is very inconsistent. Her naps range from 20 minutes to 2 1/2 hours. Sometimes she'll nap once and sometimes 4 times a day. Lovely.
Let's talk poop shall we? Her blowout situation has gone from about 3 a day to about one. (Every now and then we get a blowout free day). Now that she has been sleeping on her stomach, if she has a blowout in the middle of the night, her front is covered in poop instead of her back. So her PJ's are now equally stained. Awesome.
She is still not really a fan of being in the car or going for walks in the stroller. She despises having her clothes changed, and she also randomly started this stubborn grunting/crying/arching/stiffening her body business...it's quite entertaining, unless I'm trying to changer her diaper. About 3 weeks ago she went from being completely content with someone else holding her to having massive meltdowns if anyone but me or daddy is holding her. Hopefully that passes soon.
I know this was a long post but so much has happened this month!!

Not long enough :)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy reading these types of posts. Maybe I'm in denial and really want to have a baby asap.
Parker is adorable! I love her mohawk. Reminds me a bit of the mohawk my nephew had when he was a baby. So cute!
Glad that blow-outs are less!
Oh I feel you on the grunt/arching/stiffening thing... Millie developed that about 2 weeks ago... it is a pain most of the time. especially when I need a break from holding her and want to put her in a swing or bouncy seat.. Oh well. Also Parker is so cute!! Loving her expressions
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how big she is getting. Such a cutie! But she does need to slow down the growth a little bit! She's going to seem so old when my little gets here!!
ReplyDeleteWow - I can't believe she's part Asian? She looks just like her Daddy. She's beautiful. And from the sounds of it, progressing ahead of schedule! Go Parker Penny!
ReplyDeleteok she is adorable! and i can soooo relate to the stained jammies. I hate buying new ones cuz i know they are just gonna end up all yellow... hahaha. I've sprayed oxi-clean on them and that seems to help a lot!
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable! Look at all that pretty hair! I wish I could get Bear to nap at ALL these days...he's stubborn and won't sleep over 20 minutes during the day. 4 naps somedays?! That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteShe is gorgeous! I miss the baby years! And by that I mean I miss naps ;)
