(I'm super proud of myself for not killing this thing yet...I tend to kill plants easily).
These are the basic ingredients, but feel free to add things like garlic, peppers, pine nuts, artichoke...there are so many options!!
- 1 can of garbanzo beans
- 1 cup of fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp of lemon juice
- 2 tbsp of tahini
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of water
- salt to taste
- Add garbanzo beans and basil leaves to food processor. Pulse until chopped.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend until creamy.
