No Sew DIY Bunting

I really want to learn how to sew, but since I can't, I wanted to figure out how to create a bunting project for Parker Penny's nursery that didn't requiring bothering my friends to sew it together for me.  I'm happy to say I figured something out that is pretty easy for those of you who can't or don't want to sew either!  I wrote a tutorial on bunting a long time ago, so here are the instructions on how to get started from that blog post.
What you need:  Fabric, pinking shears (or regular scissors, but pinking shears give you a cute edge that won't fray), and heat n bond.
The above images from an old bunting project where I took more specific photos with instructions.  Don't forget to write (or stencil) your letters backwards (since you peel and iron on the opposite direction!).

Below are photos from the bunting project for Parker Penny and the instructions for the no sew part.

  1. Ooooo! I made a bunting too and it was so fun, but I seriously overestimated on the fabric and the cut triangles. I have about 4 extra triangles on 6 different fabrics. Did you see the one I did for Haven's birthday in the bday pics online?

  5. Great tutorial. Especially since I'm as good of a sewer as I am at saying no to chocolate chip cookies!

  6. Can I say I love your daughter's name?! And I love how you always use her first and middle name - Parker Penny. Or wait, are they actually both her first name?

As for no sew buntings, I have also used those mini clothes pins for a fun look and used hot glue to glue ribbon to the fabric.
