I love old apothecary jars...I think these will look great with single stemmed daisies, no?
I didn't really need a hanging plant basket, but I bet I could paint this and hang it in the nursery and stuff toys in it.
I also didn't need new lamps....but I came across these beauties and couldn't resist.
How cute are these owls? Apparently they are old Avon jars that held perfume...I googled them and they sell for about $10 each on ebay, so I felt like I scored. Now the challenge--doing something with my finds! What have you scored thrifting lately?

I LOVE the owls! So cute!! Where did you find all this great stuff?? I only really go to the North End Goodwill, and that place is totally hit or miss.
ReplyDeletegoodwill, st. vincent de paul, and other random places i see on the side of the road!
DeleteI LOVE all of your finds! You should paint the lamps too...maybe a grey color? Or a turquoise in a room that needs a pop of color?? I painted old 80's brass chandeliers from Habitat for Humanity grey for our back porch and rust orange for the front porch and I LOVE em!
ReplyDeletedefinitely plan on painting these!

ReplyDeleteI love the apothecary jars.. single stems in slim vases are my absolute favorites.
ReplyDeleteLove all of these! Such cool finds. :) I think the apothecary jars would be gorgeous with daisies :)
ReplyDeletelove the idea of using the hanging basket for toy storage! i have an unused ceiling hook in the apartment washroom so i am always looking for a hanging basket at the thrifts for toiletries.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I am in LOVE with those owls. I have probably 15 owls through out my house (owl obsessed)
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered why I can't find those hanging baskets in stores, because my mom used to use it in the kitchen for fruits and veggies. I never thought of them being for hanging plants.
