26 Weeks

Wow this week went by quick!  Andy and I have been up to our ears in projects as we get this house ready for Parker's arrival.  As I get bigger, basic things are getting more and more difficult to do, so I figured we needed to start the nursery asap.

The loft above our bedroom is currently my office/closet/storage/guest room.  We are arranging it so that it mainly serves as the nursery.  It is a really awkward space with attic like ceilings and a huge post in the center of the room...and was painted a dingy yellow.  We don't get a lot of light in the room, so I wanted to brighten it with a really light gray.
I chose the top shade of gray in a color called "quietude" which I thought would be appropriate for a baby's room.
The room is painted and I'm not sure if I love how the color turned out...it looks like it went from a dingy yellow to a dingy white.  I think once I get all the furniture in and things on the wall I might like it better.  There is no way I'm going to repaint...it was a two day project and I felt like I was run over by a truck afterwards--so I'm just going to have to make the color work!

I'll keep you posted on how the room progresses.  Have a wonderful weekend!

You look great, by the way!
