22 Weeks

This was a really great week in pregnancy.  I'm over my cold, over morning sickness, I have a normal  appetite and all I'm really dealing with is heartburn and typical aches that come with pregnancy.  Parker Penny has been kicking away--Andy finally felt her kick, it was awesome to share that little experience with him.  As I look at my growing belly I can't imagine it getting bigger, but clearly that will be the case.  It's still weird, yet awesome to see how your body transforms to grow a little one.

According to my baby bump app, Parker is a full pound now and about the size of a spaghetti squash (doesn't that seem huge?).  I'm getting excited (and still slightly overwhelmed) about setting up the nursery and putting the registry together.  There are SO many items out there....what were some of your favorite/must have registry items?

  1. You look great! So glad you're finally feeling better!!! I recommend Dr. Browns Bottles, an exersaucer, A music player (ipod, CDplayer, white noise machine). Everything else is just STUFF because I really dont think babies dont need too much! ;)

  3. I specifically remember that week 22 was when I first thought I looked pregnant and not fat. You look beautifully pregnant. YAY!

  4. You look amazing! Babies really don't need much at first. Lots of burp cloths, I second Lindsy on the exersaucer, and if your baby is anything like mine, lots of the velcro swaddlers (we had to quit swaddling cold turkey at 6 months because Jack loved it so much). It isn't a necessity, but we have a video monitor and LOVE it. It's a little on the expensive side, but it has saved my sanity since I could just see that he was okay. I could see if he was just making noises in his sleep or if he was actually awake and needed me without having to go into his room and potentially wake him up on accident when he didn't need me. The rest of the stuff is just for fun. :)

  6. You look amazing! I loved our swing...and our daughter HAD to have music on, so we had a cradle that you could hook your Ipod into. That was the best! And a good jogger stroller...even if you're not a jogger, they are WAY better strollers!
