I have hilarious memories of an old roommate and I living together in LA doing our hair. She had super curly, thick hair. I have super straight, fine, thin hair. We stood in the bathroom with a ridiculous amount of hair product; her with a straitening iron; painstakingly trying to smooth out her curls and me, with velcro rollers, curling irons and a fine tooth comb teasing the heck out of it trying to get any amounts of volume that might hold for more than 10 minutes.
I'm overdue for a haircut and have been think of ways to keep the length but get a little more oomph out of it. I know I'm never going to have big, thick, curly hair (Taylor Swift, I envy you). Perhaps a cross between these images?

ReplyDeleteOoh, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI also have super straight and fine hair, but mine is really thick which makes it super heavy. It's like the trifecta of "won't-hold-any-texture" hair. I definitely feel your pain!
I always wanted curly hair too. For my TTD shoot last week, I got my hair to go really curly and even got it to stay. Nevermind the fact that it took an entire can of extreme hold hairspray. It was still awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love that Olson twin's hair.
Layers are a great way to add dimension! I have always had layers myself, hair just looks so much more interesting and fun than straight across one length!
ReplyDeleteLayers for sure! I have the exact same problem with my hair.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true! Curly haired girls want straight hair and straight haired girls want curly hair! I have wavy hair and want straight hair! Good luck getting volume!
ReplyDeleteSandra Bullock's hair would be gorgeous on you!
ReplyDeleteHOT.
ReplyDeleteOh hair. It really is a crown of sorts. I do love Sandra Bullock's locks. I think you should give it a go!

I am never satisfied with my hair!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new 'do!
ReplyDeleteI think you would look great with a cut like the one in picture #3.
