"This is ____ from ____hospital. Is this a good time to talk? We got your results back..."
You never get a phone call from the hospital when it's good news.
Because I tend to have hypochondriac tendencies, I could feel my anxiety level rise and tears start to well up as I asked questions about the possibilities of what this could mean while trying to hide the fear in my voice.
Is it cancer I kept thinking. I'm too young. Really God, now?
It's probably nothing--but I'm meeting with a doctor this Friday for a follow up exam and I'm nervous.
