You have to watch the video at the end of the post...it's too funny!
Wow. We've been in Vietnam for less than one day and we're in love with this place. After a long, chaotic, hilarious, bumpy bus ride from Cambodia, we arrived in Chau Doc, a small, colorful, bustling town. We were exhausted so we checked into a hotel which over looks the market, showered, then walked outside to get Vietnamese sandwiches, which were $.50 each...I have a feeling this will become our staple food.
Lots of fish and squid at the market
Earlier in the morning we explored this awesome town and walked into the back streets of the villages. The people here are so friendly, every child is eager to wave and say hello; as we walked through the streets the parents were calling out to their kids to come out and say hi to us.
But the ultimate highlight of the morning was Andy chatting with these lady's and trying to learn some Vietnamese. It was HILARIOUS!
We have 30 days in Vietnam...I'm so excited!
